Senior Shows Saturday - 2nd July
Matinne: 3.00pm
Evening: 6.00pm
Please arrive for 1.30pm for the matinee performance. Dancers stay onsite until the second show unless they are either picked up by an adult or written permission is given for them to leave.
What is the show?
Each year we hold our whole-school show. Each class spends time in their weekly lessons preparing a piece to be performed in the show which is held on the Cotswold School stage towards the end of the Summer Term. We charge a small fee for dress rehearsal and costume hire (all costumes are supplied by the school). Tickets are available to buy nearer the time of the event.
It is a lovely opportunity for the pupils to come together as a school and see each other’s work. It also gives the parents the opportunity to see what is achieved across the school as well as their child’s age group.
Students perform a piece from each class they attend (if modern and tap are combined in their class they only perform a modern dance in the show).
Cost
We charge a fee of £10 per dancer if they only attend one class a week and £20 for those attending more than one class a week. This fee covers the costumes, theatre and staff hire for rehearsals.
